Beautiful weather, fantastic cars and lots of automotive attractions – can you imagine a more beautiful weekend to end the summer holidays?! On 7 and 8 September, EXPO Krakow once again became the automotive centre of Poland, as it hosted the TUNING SHOW EXPO – one of the most important automotive events in the country.

These are emotions that last a long time

TUNING SHOW EXPO is definitely more than just a car exhibition. It is an event full of emotions, diversity and amazing automotive projects. This year, nearly 14,000 visitors had the opportunity to admire almost 200 carefully selected cars – from classics, through unique tuning projects, to modern supercars.

Every year, the key element of the event is not only the variety of vehicles, but also the atmosphere - filled with passion, commitment and joy of spending time together. Adam Kornacki, motoring journalist and racing driver who hosted the main stage on Sunday, said: ‘This is probably one of the coolest and most exciting events I have ever attended. Lots of extremely interesting cars, from completely old-school to super-expensive, some RVs, some boxy cars, some round cars – basically, you can see everything here. And the best proof that we want to see all of this in the automotive industry is the turnout. I saw so many people who were interested, took photos, asked questions and engaged in conversations. The automotive, detailing and insurance industries were also represented, and I think that every car user who not only has a car but also likes or even loves it can find something really nice here.

Unforgettable projects in the tuning scene

The level of the presented vehicles increases with each edition, and this year's exhibition was the best proof of that. Unique projects were eye-catching, and their owners were happy to share their knowledge and experience. This year's edition also featured the long-awaited premiere of the Ford F1**, presented by Grzegorz Duda. He summarised his meetings with motoring enthusiasts by saying: ‘What is the greatest reward for a person who creates something on air without seeing people, only looking at the camera? The most important thing is to see interested people at such events, because then the image stays in your mind and you want to work on more projects. It is exactly the people who come here, admire the projects, recharge my batteries and make me go to the workshop right after the fair to create new projects to bring here next year’.

Drifting, adrenaline and much more!

One of the highlights of the programme were the drifting shows, which evoke a lot of emotions every year. The drifting TAXI, allowing everyone to feel the adrenaline of drifting, has always been very popular. As Tomasz ‘Mentos’ Romanowski, editor-in-chief of mototrends.pl and drift zone host at the TUNING SHOW EXPO, notes: ‘Motoring is fun. It's about colourful cars, loud exhausts, engines, sound systems inside cars. This is a showcase for motoring culture where you can really feel the positive vibes. Here, we have great drivers who are fun to work with, and a great, engaged audience that has fun with us and takes an active part in the event. It's worth coming here and experiencing these emotions for yourself’.

Meetings with famous and rising stars

The heart of the event was the main stage, where talks with the stars of the Polish automotive world took place. Among them were well-known figures such as Adam Kornacki, Grzegorz Duda and Robert Michalski, as well as a young rally talent, 12-year-old Kuba Święch, whose achievements inspire future generations of drivers. ‘There are a lot of automotive events, but this is one of my favourites. There are a lot of cool cars here, different brands, the exhibitors really have something to show. I like to come here and reminisce because this is where it all began’, says Kuba. Participants also had the opportunity to talk to the creators of tuning masterpieces and find out how much work and heart they put into their projects. ‘We meet a lot of people with whom we can connect and talk face to face, not just through social media. Many visitors watch our YouTube channel, follow the project and support us. It's great to be here every year and show our progress not only online but also in real life. This trade fair is a great opportunity to do so’, adds Damian Kurcz, creator of the ‘126 Competizione’ project.

Motoring connects people

These words, repeated many times by the participants of the event, perfectly capture the spirit of the TUNING SHOW EXPO. It is not only a place where we admire cars, but above all a space for meetings, exchange of experiences and celebrating our passion together. Exhibitors, visitors, organisers – they all form a unique community that returns to Kraków every year to share their love of cars. ‘What I will remember the most is the relaxed atmosphere of the event. You can see that the motoring connects people and the fact that we are all passionate about cars is one thing, but the other important thing is that we meet wonderful people thanks to our shared passion, and that is why the atmosphere at the fair is so special’, emphasises Robert Michalski from STRADALE Classics - a creator from the motoring world, and a star of the TV show ‘Zawodowi Handlarze’.

See you next year!

The 4th edition of the TUNING SHOW EXPO went down in history as an event full of excitement, emotions and meetings with great people. We are already looking forward to the 5th anniversary edition, which is sure to surprise us again with the level of the exhibited projects and the number of activities. If you are still unsure whether it is worth visiting us next year, maybe entrepreneur and TV presenter Gregory Collins can convince you: ‘The success of such events depends on the atmosphere. You can definitely find cool, friendly people, whole families, supercars and great exhibitors at the TUNING SHOW EXPO, so make sure to come next time!
